OHH my God! The BEST most authentic Oaxacan food I have had since I visited Huatulco Oaxaca in person!!!!! Authentic Mexican flavors are reallyyyyyyy hard to find in this area. There's lots of choices & most Mexican places are slightly, if not; completely Americanized. (Which, no shade! I love me some Americanized Mex food!) But authentic Mexican flavors, specifically Oaxacan flavors are really special. Everything is delicious, the memelitas, the torta de quesillo, the breakfast burrito, the cafe de olla, the pan dulce, the spicy salsa (the orange & red was my favorite). A big plus is that they have a private parking lot. There was plenty of parking when I pulled up. That's pretty rare in downtown SJ. The service is also an honorable mention. Good vibes from the staff, warm genuine smiles & a sincere welcoming environment. This place is truly a gem

We had the viral dessert Raspberry and Peach! Both items were delicious not overly sweet - just right! $$$ . The size was small but good. We got (2) for $17.00. Restaurant was clean. So many bakery items I wanted to try but didnt want to over do it!! Service was great.

Their baked good are superb! On my first visit, the staff went out of their way to explain all the goodies they make and gave great recs. My entire exchange with them, made my day! Second visit, went equally well and I went home with mostly different treats but delish. Only one goodie I personally didn’t enjoy as much was the Oaxacan cheese filled cone, the outer casing had become soggy and I wasn’t getting much of the cheese flavor. That’s my only critique. Will be back soon!

What a beautiful experience! Everything we picked out was absolutely amazing. The carne asada quesadilla was so flavorful and perfectly made, and the pastries we got were incredible. Every bite was worth it! On top of the great food, the customer service was a 10/10. Zulema was not only beautiful but also has such an amazing soul so kind, welcoming, and full of great energy. This place truly has a wonderful vibe. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to! ✨🌮🥐💛
